When RaVolt came to 77 Collective, they handed us the keys to their brand-new business and said, “Go wild.” We’re talking naming the business, crafting the brand identity, designing the website, and launching a digital marketing campaign. When RaVolt came to us, they had a bold vision: to revolutionize the way people think about home solar with their custom, off-grid power systems. But here’s the catch—they didn’t want to look, sound, or feel like every other solar company out there (you know, the ones with names like “Sun Something” or “Solar Whatever”). They needed a name, a logo, a website, and a marketing strategy that would stand out in a sea of sameness. Oh, and no clichés allowed. Easy, right?
We dove into hundreds of naming options, dodging every “sun” and “solar” cliché like they were dodgeballs at recess. After painstaking research (and maybe a few coffee-fueled debates), we landed on “RaVolt”—a name that combines “Ra,” the Egyptian sun god, with “Volt,” because, well, electricity. It’s bold, memorable, and has just the right amount of edge. For the visuals, we went with subtle nods to solar without the overdone sun graphics—icons and designs that hinted at energy without shouting it.
Then, we rolled up our sleeves and tackled their digital strategy, digging through five years of off-grid solar data to find key trends and insights that would set RaVolt apart. The result? A brand identity and strategy that’s as innovative as their product.
After helping RaVolt launch with a killer brand identity, website, and marketing strategy, we didn’t stop there. Over the years, we’ve partnered with them to craft advertising campaigns, organic social media strategies, trade show support, and a ton of paid media magic. The results? Countless leads and over a million dollars in revenue.
